Children Program

Fantasy and play are the working tools of children, their means of expression and education.

The Children’s Program stresses oral communication in English for children whose English reading and writing skills are also developed.

Understanding the importance of English as a tool to meet and interact with people from other cultures is also emphasized.

  • Methodology

Teaching methods vary according to age and student level. Creativity, preparation, imagination and a good dose of fun are keys to achieving productive classes that are both fun and offer high contextual content. Courses focus on the use of music, TPR, storytelling, role-playing and the use of audiovisual material, which are combined to give unique characteristics to each class.

  • Levels

Pre-Kids Level: Designed for children aged 5 to 6 who are just beginning the process of reading and writing in their native language. The English classes are eminently fun and help children develop a love for learning English.

Kids Level: Aimed at children aged 7 to 9 who already read and write in Spanish.

Pre-Teens Level: Designed for adolescents from 9 ½ to 10 to 12 years.
This stage calls for increased development of comprehension and writing skills as well as oral performance.  Children are prepared for more intense work in the youth program (adolescent level).

Teens Level (Youth Program): Teens have access to this level after the completion of the above process and, according to their previous performance and demonstrated abilities; they are then promoted to the adult program.
